SalesPath
SalesPath is MarketView's new product sales forecasting component.

It is designed as a cost-saving add-on to our concept and concept/product testing efforts.

We recognize the merits of working with companies whose primary business is sales forecasting… but we also know there can be lack of fit with some products you work on as these companies can be very expensive, too constraining and/or lack the diagnostic expertise that you and your organization demands.

As an alternative, we have established a partnership with one of the market leaders who has been providing sales forecasts for over three decades. Their model is the same basic model that is used by BASES and ESP. They have run thousands of tests for a wide range of clients. In running these tests the forecasting team has built up a high level of expertise.

Using well-established inputs (PI scores, category/brand parameters, etc.) the model can:

  • Produce sales forecasts from concept tests.
  • Produce sales forecasts from product tests.
  • Create projections based on early test results.
